Thank you for visiting my blog site. I am Anna and this is En Route - a compilation of my chronicles on my journeys, discoveries, adventures and misadventures.

As young as 4 years old, I used to travel yearly by sea to my mom's hometown in Miagao, Iloilo and got used to seasickness, long hours of journey and meeting people from all walks of life.  My first ever plane ride was a ride to Davao City to attend my cousin's wedding in General Santos City in 2002.  My first out-of-the-country trip was a budget Singaporean trip with my UP friends in 2006 - a memorable trip that hooked me into travelling. 

How?

Because I have realised that there is so much to explore outside of my comfort zone.  

I learned that there is so much to see away from home.  There is so much to enjoy.  There is so much to know.

I have come to know that travelling is not only for the rich.  I could travel in a budget!

So join me as I map out trips, gorge on exotic and 'new-to-my-taste-buds' cuisines, explore interesting cultures, discover paradises and eating havens, get enthralled by events and experiences and embark on new adventures. Who knows, this might bring out the wayfarer in you... :)
